DATELINE; JOHNSON CITY , TN

Brenda S. Butler age 69, of Lynn Lane , Johnson City , TN passed away April 30, 2015 at Johnson City Medical Center . She was a native of Carter County, TN and a daughter of the late Lee and Leona Evans Street . She was retired as a supervisor for Levi Strauss. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church .

Survivors include: her husband Mack Butler, of the home, two daughters; Denise Darnell (Brian), of Kingsport, TN, and Diane Stevens (Terry), of Piney Flats, TN, three sons; Rodney Shelton (Rita), of Gray, TN, Tommy Shelton and Jon Shelton, both of Johnson City, TN, four sisters; Becky Combs (Fred), of Florida, Dorcas Hale, of Johnson City, TN, twin sister; Linda Phillips (Jerry), of Johnson City, TN,  and Billie Archer (Herman), of Jonesborough, TN, one brother; Darrell Street (Shirley), of Ohio, fourteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her sisters; Shirley Street , Helen Littleton, Nora Shull, and Gayle Clark, and her brothers; Herbert and Evans Street .

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 7:00PM in Spring Creek Baptist Church with Bob McCurry officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will be Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 2:00PM at Butler Cemetery .
