Brandy Ann Byrd Mason, age 41 of Burnsville went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2015 in the John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville, NC. A native of Mitchell County , she was the daughter of Sherrill and Sabra Burleson Byrd of Spruce Pine, NC. Brandy was a faithful member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church where she loved and supported her pastor and church family. She always had so much love and concern for other people. Brandy was a homemaker.

Surviving in addition to her parents, are her husband, Scott Mason of the home; daughter, Hannah Mason and son Noah Mason both of Burnsville and five nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Brandy was preceded in death by her sister, Robin Lynn Byrd.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Reverends Jimbo Seaton and Davy Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends  from 6 to 8 pm Monday at Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville , NC .
