Dateline: Boyd Junior Davis, age 81 of Raccoon Branch Rd, Green Mountain, NC passed away March 23, 2018. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a son of the late Ed and Dollie Davis. He was a farmer and retired from Bradshaw Fire Department with 26 years service. He enjoyed being of service to anyone in the community and took care of many animals. He attended Brummits Creek Church of The Brethren.

Survivors include his wife Grace Davis, one sister Grace Hensley, of Burnsville, NC, one brother James Davis of Burnsville, NC.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by one sister Bonnie Davis.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Randy Clark officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Union Hill Cemetery. (Union Hill Church Rd).
