Bonnie Stevens Miller, age 86 of Green Creek Rd , Bakersville , NC went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2016 . She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Floyd and Etta Garland Stevens. She was a member of Little Rock Creek Baptist Church . She previously owned and operated Millers Drive In for several years in the Glen Ayre Community.

Survivors include; four sons; Richard Miller (Wanda), Steve Miller (Somong), Kurt Miller (Elizabeth), all of Bakersville, NC, and Floyd Miller, of South Carolina, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one on the way, and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by: her husband; Ed Miller, one sister; Betty Buchanan, two brothers; Ted and Fred Stevens, and a son; Gordon Dennis Miller.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home with G. E. Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Buchanan Cemetery off Hwy 261 North in the Glen Ayre Community. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
