Billy Dean Frye, age 71, of Pitman Rd, Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord, July 12, 2019. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a son of the late Jay and Lula Greene Frye. He was retired as produce manager for Food Lion Grocery in Spruce Pine, NC. He attended Cloudland Baptist Church.

Survivors include; one daughter: Amy Frye Jackson (Stephen), of Bakersville, NC, one sister: Shelby McClure (Lester), of Marion, NC, one brother: Doug Frye (Carolyn), of Bakersville, NC, sisters in law: Sheila Phillips, and Ruth Frye, brother in law: Roger McKinney (Wanda), of Burnsville, NC, one grandson: Tegan Jackson, special friends: Tommy and Reba Willis, and Brenda McNeill, and many special loved nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by; his wife: Cynthia McKinney Frye, son: Billy Dean Frye Jr., brother: Roger Frye, and brother in law: Harold McKinney.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 at 7:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Danny Silver, Brent Duncan, and Larry Greene officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 11:00AM at Bear Creek Cemetery.
