Billie Mae Stewart Whitson age, 74 of Asheville, NC passed away March 14, 2015 at her home. She was born in Jackson County to the late Roy and Louise Robinson Stewart. She was retired as an administrative assistant at St. Joseph Hospital in Asheville, NC.
She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.
Survivors include; her husband Jack S. Whitson of the home, one daughter; Kimberly Tipton (Wayne) of Mills River, NC, one son; Dean S. Whitson (Teresa) of Asheville, NC, one sister; Dorothy Mathis of Balsam, NC, two grandchildren; Jacob and Kady Tipton, sisters in law; Nancy Laws (Jeff), Lila Ruth Stewart, and JoAnn Lazaro (Tony); also several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister Joan Barfield, and two brothers; Roy Stewart Jr. and Clarence Stewart.
Private services will be held.
