Billie Lane Garland, age 65 of N 226 Highway, Bakersville, NC passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 at her home. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and the daughter of the late Jess and Dollie Hoilman. She was employed with the Capps Program in Home Health Care. She was a member of Roans Chapel Baptist Church .

Survivors include: two sons; Michael James Hoilman and Charles Allen Hoilman, both of Bakersville, NC, two brothers; Charles Bridge, of Bakersville, NC, and Conard Bridge, of Maryland, four grandchildren; Lucas Michael Hoilman, Hannah Nichole Hoilman, Angel Nichole Hoilman, and A. J. Griggs.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Garland.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Ronnie Gouge, Marvin Silvers, and Keith Tipton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at L. G. Gouge Cemetery .
