Audrey Sullivan Young, 74, of Roan Mountain , TN passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in The Waters of Roan Highlands Nursing Center. A native of Caldwell County , she was the daughter of the late Clem and Hazel Shell Sullivan and the wife of the late Charles Carroll Young. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ervin Sullivan. Audrey was an avid artist who had her artwork displayed all over East Tennessee and Western North Carolina .

Audrey is survived by her daughter, Sharon Poarch and husband Kenny; grandson, Jesse Poarch; sister, Carolyn Craig; step children: Elana Howell, Keith Young, Kenny Young, Lee Young, Daniel Young and Eddie Young.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in the Hughes Cemetery on Roaring Creek Road in Newland , NC . Memorials may be made to The Waters of Roan Highlands Rehab Center, 146 Buck Creek Rd , Roan Mountain , TN 37687 .
