Amanda Cole Ellis, age 38 of John Sparks Rd , Bakersville , NC passed away January 19, 2015 at Mission Hospital in Asheville , NC . She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a member of Cub Creek Baptist Church . She also attended Crabtree Baptist Church .

Survivors include: her parents; Robert E. and Janie S. Cole, of Bakersville, NC, paternal grandmother; Nellie P. Cole, also of Bakersville, NC, one daughter; Jaiden Correll, and one son; Cole Correll, both of Spruce Pine, NC, one brother; Adam Cole (Stacie) of Marion, NC, several uncles and aunts, and a special friend Jody Hoyle and his family.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 8:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Kenneth Murphy and Mike Rathbone officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
