Alma Jean Gardner Barnes age 61, of Burnsville, NC passed away June 12, 2023. She was a daughter of the late Rex and Zulene English Gardner and retired as a CNA.

Survivors include four children; Bradley Stansberry (Amy), Chris Stansberry (Chrissy), Corey Barnes and Heather Barnes, siblings; Linda Gardner, Rhonda Wolford and Rex Allen Gardner (Barbara), and a host of grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Scott Stansberry, and siblings; Chloe Mello, Raymond Higgins Sr., and Ned Higgins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
