Albert Lee Peterson, 84, of Erwin, TN passed away at his home on May 23, 2022. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC born June 10, 1937. He was a son of the late Roscoe and Flora Peterson. He was a member of The Fishery Community Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Alvie Peterson. He retired from The Clinchfield  (CSX) Railroad after 32 years.

He is survived by the love of his life Wanda Peterson. his children: Albert L. Peterson Jr, Felecia J. Peterson, Edward A. Peterson, and Sandra L. Hill, nine grandchildren, one sister Helen McQueen (Sam), nieces and nephews: Cameron McQueen, Lisa Walston, Samantha McQueen, Tony Peterson, and David Peterson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Reverend Ronald Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the George W. Peterson Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a charity of ones choice.
