Shirley Sue (Mosley) Putman

          Shirley Sue Mosley Putman, 66 of Hickory, formerly of Buladean, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Stewart and Tempie Briggs Mosley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Putman and her son, Frankie Putman, brothers: Junior and Danny Zigler and a sister, Linda Holkes.

          Shirley enjoyed the outdoors, working in her flowers and gardening. And she was a "people person".

          Survivors in include her sons: Steve Putman of Bakersville and Ronnie Zigler of York, PA; sisters: Penny Zigler and Robin Zigler both of York and Judy Zigler of Tallahassee, Fl; brothers, Donnie Mosley and John Zigler both of York, PA. also 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

          Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home with G.B. Garland and Mike Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mosley Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
