Rosa Lee (Teague) Edwards

Rosa Lee Edwards, 83 of Bakersville, NC passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late George and Sarah Ammos Teague and the wife of the late Tommie Lee Edwards. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Edwards Buchanan, and son, Timothy Scott Edwards; sister, Mildred Wilson and two brothers: George Jr. and Earl Teague. Rosa was a member of the Little Rock Creek Baptist Church where she played the piano and sang. She was also a loving homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Retta Deane Bingham and husband Bob of Graham and her son, Ronnie Edwards and wife Teresa of Jonesborough, TN; sister, Margie Snyder of Marion, NC; sister in law, Marie Teague; brother in law, Glen Ray Edwards; and 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm Saturday, June 1, 2019 in the Little Rock Creek Baptist Church with the funeral following at 3 pm with pastors Keith Beck and Toby Crowder officiating. Burial will follow in the Bakersville Memorial Cemetery.
