GRINDSTAFF YELTON
Hazel Grindstaff Yelton, age 83 of Ollis Road, Spruce Pine, NC
passed away December 29 2007 at her home. She was the daughter of
the late Jesse and Rosa Young Grindstaff and a native of Mitchell
County, NC. She was a member of Pine Branch Baptist Church and a
former employee of Cline Hosiery Mills.
Survivors include; husband Warfield Yelton, of the home,
daughters, Patsy Louallen Braswell, of Spruce Pine, NC, and Teresa
Marie Robinson, also of Spruce Pine, NC, son, Reverend James
"Buster" Yelton, of Spruce Pine, NC, sisters, Linnie Effler and
Azalene Robinson, both of Marion, NC, one brother, Jack Grindstaff,
of Bakersville, NC, five grandchildren, Roger Wiseman Jr, Angie
Rhinecker, Tabitha Yelton, Serena Stamey, and Stephen Duncan and
seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by, five brothers. Funeral services
will be held; Tuesday, January 1 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Henline
- Hughes Funeral Home with Steve Williams, Larry Beam , and Buster
Yelton officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior
to the service. Interment will follow at Spruce Pine Memorial
Cemetery.
