Edd Wise, age 77 of Spring Creek Rd Bakersville NC passed away
March 27 2008 at his home. He was the son of the late Grady and
Josie Rowe Wise ,a farmer and carpenter. He was a member of Cane
Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include; wife, Mary Frances Wise,
of the home, daughters, Carolyn Redden and Donna Wyatt, sons, Danny
Wise, Eddie Wise, and Michael Wise, all of Bakersville, NC, sisters,
Georgia Giles, and Ethel Riddle, both of Spruce Pine, NC brothers,
Bruce Wise, Cornelius H. Wise, and Wilburn Wise, all of Spruce Pine,
NC, grandchildren, Tammy Putman, Chad Wise, Stephanie Hoilman,
Christy Young, Jessica Beasley, Jonathan Wise, Joshua Wise, and
Ashley Redden, great grandchildren, Jordan Putman, Shaylee Hoilman,
and Abigail Putman.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Grady Wise, and Sam
Wise. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 29th from
6:00PM until 8:00PM at Henline - Hughes Funeral Home. Funeral
Services will be held Sunday, March 30th at 2:30PM in Cane Creek
Baptist Church with Ronnie Gouge and Chad Wise officiating.
Interment will follow at Cane Creek #1 Cemetery. Memorials may be
