BOONE WILSON
Emma Lou Boone Wilson, age 83, of Hoot Owl Road passed away
Friday, June 18, 2010. A native of Mitchell County, NC, she
was the daughter of the late James and Bessie Willis Boone.
She had previously worked at Lynchburg Hospital in Lynchburg, VA,
and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: nieces, Cindy
Zahn and Edna Boone of Bakersville, NC, nephews, David and Tim Boone
of Bakersville, NC, several other nieces and nephews, special
caregivers, Jerry and Barbara Squires and Tim and Nes Squires.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Harold B. "Bert"
Wilson who passed away in December 2009, brothers, Homer Daniel
Boone, Jeter Boone, and Howard Boone, sisters, Willie Griffith,
Jennie Griffith, Effie Swann, Viola Willis, and Ora Woody. Funeral
services will be held Sunday, June 20, 2010 at 2:00PM in the Chapel
of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville, NC. Visitation
will be one hour prior to the service. Larry Greene and B.G.
McMahan will be officiating the service. Interment will follow
in the Rebels Creek Cemetery.
