Mae Duncan Willis, age 79 of Bear Creek Church Rd,
Bakersville
NC
passed away May 24, 2007.
She was the daughter of the late Earl and Margie Willis Duncan, and
a native of Mitchell County, NC. She was a member of
Bear
Creek
Baptist
Church,
and retired from Ellen Knitting Company.
Survivors include; sons, Roger Lee Willis and wife Marie, of Spruce
Pine, NC, Danny Ray Willis, Timothy Keith Willis and wife Robin, all
of Bakersville, NC, four sisters, Ruby Gouge, and Melba Abernathy,
of Bakersville, NC, Jean Blevins and Gail Anderson, both of Hickory,
NC, four brothers, Gray Duncan, of Spruce Pine, NC, Phil Duncan, of
Bakersville, Wade Duncan and Bobby Dean Duncan, both of Hickory, NC,
two grandchildren, Kim Yelton, and husband Danny, and Daniel Willis,
one great grandchild, William Yelton.
She was
preceded in death by; husband, Bobby Willis, one sister, Sue Wilson,
and two brothers William and Scott Duncan.
Funeral
services will be held Sunday, May 27th at 3:00PM in Bear Creek
Baptist Church with Chris Rathbone and Max Holland officiating. The
family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment
will be at Bear Creek Cemetery.
