Myra Byrd Thomas, age 93, of Pigeon Roost Rd, Green Mountain, NC
passed away April 13, 2010 at Brookside Rehab and Care in
Burnsville, NC. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and the
daughter of the late Iss and Pansy Tipton Byrd. She was a
Homemaker, and a member of Brethren Church (Pigeon Roost).
Survivors include; her husband, Fred Thomas, one sister, Elva
Barnett, of Green Mountain, NC, and several nieces and nephews. A
graveside service will be held Friday, April 16 at 11:00AM at Byrd
Cemetery (Grove Byrd Rd), with Ronald Thomas officiating.
