Charles Lee Stevens Sr. age 63, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010.
He was a native of Mitchell County, NC, and had worked as a
carpenter.
Survivors include: mother, Hazel Garland Stevens of Bakersville,
NC, daughter, Jerry Howell of Green Mountain, NC, son, Donnie
Edwards of Bakersville, NC, grandchildren, Brittney Howell of Green
Mountain, NC, Sarah Ellis and Tiffany Edwards both of Bakersville,
NC, great grandchild, Jaden Nevaeh Atkins, brother, Joey Stevens of
Bakersville, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe
Stevens, and son, Charles Lee Stevens Jr. Funeral services will be
held Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 2:30 PM in Henline-Hughes Funeral Home
in Bakersville, NC. Mark Brown will be officiating the
service. Interment will follow in the Fork Mountain Missionary
Baptist Church Cemetery. Henline-Hughes is assisting the Stevens
family. |
