Daniel Steven Shepard, age 27 of Hughes Gap Rd, Bakersville NC
passed away May 17, 2007. He was a graduate of Mitchell High School,
and a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was employed with Unimin
Corporation (Crystal Plant), in Spruce Pine, NC.
Survivors include; wife, Christin Sue Shepard, of Unicoi, TN,
mother, Yevonne W. Duncan, of Bakersville, NC, sisters, Angel S.
Hughes, of Bakersville, NC, and Jessica S. Silvers, of Spruce Pine,
NC, father and mother-in-law, David and Sue Hoilman, of Unicoi, TN,
grandmother, Annie Bishop Shepard, of Bakersville, NC, grandparents,
Harold and Willie Whitton, of Breman Ga, several nephews,
Matthew Hughes, Aaron Hughes, Dakota Hoilman, and Jacob Hoilman.
He was preceded in death by; father, Steve Shepard. Funeral
services will be held Saturday, May 19 at 3:00PM, in Grace Baptist
Church with Ronnie Gouge and Nathan Silver officiating. The family
will receive friends from 1:00 until the service hour. Interment
will follow at Garland Parker Cemetery.
