Abbie Lee Renfro, age 82 of Green Mountain, NC, passed away July
13, 2010 at Brian Center Health and Rehab in Spruce Pine, NC. She
was a native of Mitchell County, NC and the daughter of the late
John and Annie Laws Davis. She was a Homemaker and a member of
Brummitts Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Modean Edwards, of Bakersville, NC,
and Mary Willis, of Burnsville, NC, one son Rick Renfro and wife
Joan, of Newland, NC, grandchildren, Terry Willis, Ronnie Lee
Willis, Christy Warehime, Jackie McKinney, Ashley Sheppard, Allen
Warehime, special granddaughters, Nikki Willis, and Davida Willis,
great grandchildren, Mason, Amber, Jacob, Elaina, Jada, Cortney,
Brandon, Matthew, and Michael.
She was preceded in death by her husband R. C. Renfro, sisters,
Kathleen Buchanan, Atlas Styles, Millie Honeycutt, and Geneva Fox,
and brothers, Earnest and Edd Davis.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 15 2010 in Henline
- Hughes Funeral Home from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral services
will be held Friday, July 16 2010 at 11:00AM in the chapel of
Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Clyde Thomason and Brandon Byrd
officiating. Interment will follow at Union Hill Cemetery.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Brian Center
Health and Rehab especially her special friend there Sharon Huskey.
