SHELTON POORE
Rosalee Hazel Shelton Poore, age 76, of Vale, NC passed away
April 1, 2010 at her home. She was born August 7, 1933, in
Marshall, NC and was the daughter of the late Lillian Robinson
Shelton Banner and Ronald Shelton. In addition to her parents
she was preceded in death by husband of 35 years Wentz Wade Poore,
their two sons, Charles Wade Poore and Darrell Lee Poore, her
sister, Linda Faye Banner Gravley. She was also preceded in
death by her first husband, Wilmer H. Dotson and their daughter,
Donna Delane Dotson Verzone, and one granddaughter, Angel Star
Culver. She is survived by her daughters, Dianna Haynes of
Conover, NC, Deborah Hite of Lebanon, VA, Darlene Archer of Shiloh,
OH, Danita Tellado of Newton, NC, sons, Jess Wentz Poore of Connelly
Springs, NC, Dennis D. Dotson of New London, OH, Danny Dotson of
Norwalk, OH, and her stepsons, Keith, Billy, Steven, Mitchell, and
Donnie Poore all of Flint, MI, nineteen grandchildren, and fifteen
great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Saturday,
April 3, 2010 at 2:30PM in the Chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home
in Bakersville, NC. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until the
service hour. Gene Gouge of Hildebran is officiating the
service. Interment will follow at the Byrd Cemetery, Red
Hill, NC. Memorials may be made to: Danita Dawn Tellado,
