BUCHANAN PITTMAN
Pauline Buchanan Pittman, age 88 of Hamburg Rd, Bakersville, NC,
passed away April 19, 2010 at Brian Center Health and Rehab in
Spruce Pine, NC. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and the
daughter of the late Virgil and Estelle Burleson Buchanan. She was
retired from Roses where she worked as a Clerk. She was a member of
Cane Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include; daughter, Anna Belle McKinney, and husband
Buddy, of Bakersville, NC, two sons, Ronnie Pittman, and wife Mabel,
of Charlotte, NC, and Arthur Pittman and wife Irene, of Malaysia,
one brother, Ernest Buchanan, of Charlotte, NC, eleven
grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and two great great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Pittman and
one son Robert Pittman and a sister Anna Mae Stamey.. Funeral
services will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 2:00PM in the
chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Tony McKinney
officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the
service. Interment will follow at Cane Creek Cemetery.
