PITTMAN
Lucille Quinn Pittman, age 90 of South Mitchell Avenue passed
away April 2, 2008 at her home. She was a native of Mitchell County,
NC and the daughter of the late Thomas Kelly and Iris Hall Quinn.
She was a member of Bakersville Baptist Church. Survivors include;
husband, Cecil Pittman of the home, daughter, Cecilia Pittman Smock
and husband Ron, of Charlotte, NC son, Robert C Pittman and wife
Carolyn, of Manassas, Va, sisters, Mary Blackwell, of Ashburn, Ga,
and Jean Johnson, of Spruce Pine, NC, brothers, Tommy Quinn, of
Limestone, TN, Dan Quinn, of Spruce Pine, NC, Joe Quinn, of Marion,
NC, and Edwin Quinn, of Marion, NC, three grandchildren, Brian
Pittman, Susan Luce, and Amelia Trout, six great grandchildren,
Mitch, Connor, Riley, Cole, Liam, and Cameron.
She was preceded in death by; sisters, Rachel Hughes, Anna Lee
Peterson, and one brother, Frank Quinn. The family will receive
friends Friday, April 4, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Henline -
Hughes Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 5
at 11:00AM in Bakersville Baptist Church with Billy Stewart
officiating. Interment will follow at Bakersville Memorial
Cemetery.. Memorials may be made to; Mitchell County Hospice PO
Box 38 Spruce Pine, NC 28777. Henline - Hughes Funeral Home is
