| DATELINE: CANTON, NC TIM PITMAN
Tim Pitman, age 60 of Ford Hollow Rd, Canton, NC passed away July
12, 2007. He was the son of the late Bill and Carrie McKinney
Pitman, and a native of Mitchell County, NC. He was a former used
car manager with Anton Chevrolet, and a Veteran of The United States
Army. He served on the Honor Guard at The Tomb of The Unknown
Soldier. He was a member of Cane Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include; daughters, Tammy Pitman, of Allentown, Pa, and
Alex Pitman, of Canton, NC, one son, Billy Pitman, of Allentown, Pa,
two brothers, Bill Pitman, and Jerry Dean Pitman, both of
Bakersville, NC, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Pitman, one
brother, Kenneth Pitman, one sister, Mary E. Pitman.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 15 at 2:00PM in the
chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Kenneth Murphy and
Gerald Grindstaff officiating. The family will receive friends one
hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Cane Creek
Cemetery.
