Roxie Peterson, age 102 of Flat Branch Rd Green Mountain, NC
passed away May 11, 2007. She was a Native of Mitchell County, NC
and the daughter of the late Billie and Rebecca Bennett Peterson.
She was a member of Poplar Church Of The Brethren. Survivors
include; son, L. J. Peterson, of Green Mountain, NC, sisters, Pansy
Shelley, Cecile Peterson, and Pearlee Chandler, all of Erwin, TN,
grandchildren, Crystal Campbell, Kim Craig, Alan, Edwards, Darrell
Edwards, and Scott Edwards, great grandchildren, John Edwards,
Beth Arwood, Katie Edwards, Lacey Edwards, Will Craig, Sam Edwards,
and Daniel Edwards, one great great granddaughter, Maggie Arwood.
She was preceded in death by; husband, Isaac Peterson, daughter,
Bergie P. Edwards, brothers, Clyde, Briscoe, Floyd, Sidney,
Lawrence, and Geter Peterson, sisters, Darlisky, Flora, and
Florence.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12 at 3:00PM in the
chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Larry Campbell
officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the
service. Interment will follow at Flat Branch Cemetery. Henline -
Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the Peterson family. |
