Peterson 76 of 441 Sams Branch RD. died Saturday March 29, 2008
At his home. He was the son of the late Malley
and Judy Bennett Peterson. He was a member of the Bailey Independent
Brethren Church and a retired farmer and lumberman.
He is preceded in death by, Sister Lorraine
Peterson, Brothers, Berson, Cecil, and Byrd Peterson
Grandaughter, Millicent Lorraine Miller and
Grandson Christopher Shadrich.
He is survived by one Daughter Becky Sue and
her husband Johnny Miller of Green Mountain, N.C.
And One son Steve Fredrick Peterson and his
wife Linda of Green Mountain, Two sisters
Oleene Potter of Winston Salem and Clarice
Peterson of Thomasville, N.C. two brothers
John Peterson of Weaverville, N.C.and Junior
Peterson of Green Mountain, N.C. Six
Grandchildren, Amberly Rohr, Cody Peterson,
Kenny Shadrick, Josh Peterson, Jonathon Peterson and Amanda Sheehan,
and two great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday March 31,
2008 at 3:pm at the Bailey Independent
Brethren Church on Sams Branch Rd Green
Mountain, N.C. Interment will follow the
funeral service in the Peterson family Cemetery
at Sams Branch Rd. The family will receive
friends Sunday March 30, 2008 at 7PM at the
Bailey Independent Church. Officiating
will be Reed Bagby.
In Lieu of flowers , Memorials may be made to
the following, building fund of Bailey Independent Brethran Church,
St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place
Memphis , TN 38105 – 1942, or to Hospice of
Mitchell County, Box 38 Spruce Pine , N.C.
