JUNIOR PETERSON
Carl Junior Peterson, age 64, passed away May 2, 2010 at his
residence. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC, and was the
son of the late Mallie and Judy Bennett Peterson. He was
previously employed with the NC Highway Department in Bridge
Maintenance. He was a Veteran of the US Army and served in
South Korea.
Survivors include: brother, John Verge Peterson of Weaverville,
NC, sisters, Oleene Potter of Winston Salem, NC, Clarise Peterson of
Thomasville, NC, nine nephews, ten nieces, many other relatives and
friends, and special animals, Little Pete, Big Pete, and Roscoe (The
Baby One). He was preceded in death by sister, Loraine, brothers,
Cecil, Boyd, Berson, and Jeff. Funeral services will be held
Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 7:00PM at the Bailey Brethren Church.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Reed Bagby
will be officiating the service. Interment will be Friday, May
7, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Peterson Cemetery on Sams Branch Road.
