OLLIS
Willie Burnie Ollis, age 70 of Hughes Road, Bakersville,
NC passed away July 16, 2007 at Spruce Pine Community Hospital. He
was the son of the late Earnest Lee and Cora Pitman Ollis, and
retired from Edwards Warren Tire Company as a Supervisor.
Survivors include; wife, Ethel Street Ollis, of the home,
children, Debra Anders, of Burnsville, NC, Bobby Lee Ollis and wife
Diane, of Hartsville, SC, Danny Wayne Ollis and Sherry, of
Bakersville, NC, Steven Lewis Ollis, and wife Angie of Bakersville,
NC, Gregory Allen Ollis and wife Sandi, also of Bakersville, NC, one
sister, Dorothy Buchanan, of Bakersville, NC, four brothers, Robert
Ollis, of Spruce Pine, NC, Lee Roy Ollis, and James Ollis, both of
Bakersville, NC, and Sammie Ollis, of Hudson, NC, five
grandchildren, Seth, Chase, Travis, Jeffery, and Katie Jane. He
was preceded in death by; brothers, Ted, Edd, Earl and Karl.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 8:00PM in
the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Bobby Campbell and
John Cullifer officiating. The family will receive friends two hours
prior to the service. Interment will be Wednesday, July 18 at 2:00PM
at Melton Cemetery (Pottery Rd).
