Betty Jane Ollis, age 72 of Dale Rd, Spruce Pine, NC passed away
July 26, 2009 at her home. She was a daughter of the late Purtle Ben
and Lizzie Hollifield Biddix, and a Native of Mitchell County, NC.
She was retired from American Thread Company. She was a member of
Grassy Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include; husband, Billy Lee Ollis, of the home,
daughter, Janet Leigh Ollis, of Spruce Pine, NC, one sister,
Joyce Ann Ollis, of Spruce Pine, NC, two grandchildren, Cassandra
Leigh Robinson, and Cain Alexander Stafford.
She was preceded in death by; brothers, Dennis Richard Biddix,
and Daniel Lonas Biddix. Funeral services will be held Wednesday,
July 29, 2009 at 7:00PM in Grassy Creek Baptist Church with Matthew
Mills and Gene Self officiating. The family will receive friends two
hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grassy Creek
Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Grassy Creek Baptist
Church c/o Pam Snyder 793 Old NC 226 Spruce Pine NC 28777.
