NC NETTIE JEAN BUCHANAN NARANJO
Nettie Jean Buchanan Naranjo, age 77 of US 220 Hwy, Stokesdale,
NC passed away February 24, 2010 at her home. She was a Native of
Mitchell County, NC and the daughter of the late Kelly and Nina
Sullins Buchanan. She was retired from Military Retail Work with The
United States Air Force. She was a member of Mayodan First Baptist
Church, and she enjoyed working with her flower garden and arts and
crafts.
Survivors include; her husband of 23 years Ismael M. Naranjo, of
the home, daughters, Dionne Clark Johnson, and husband Arnold, of
Red Oak, Iowa, and Darla Clark Allred, of Mayodan, NC, brothers, Wade
Buchanan, and wife Jerrie, of Seneca, SC, Terry Buchanan, and wife
Janie, of Lincolnton, NC, and Gary Buchanan, of Erwin, TN, sisters,
Shirley Rice, of Spruce Pine, NC, Frances Schwaner, and husband
Jake, of Lenoir, NC, and Glenda Pittman, of Morganton, NC, four
grandchildren, and five great grandchildren, a host of nieces,
nephews and friends, and special friends Debra Jackson and her
daughter Lindsay Jackson, of Myrtle Beach, SC. She was preceded in
death by; husband, Theodore H. Clark, one brother, Kelly Buchanan Jr, and one sister, Gail Boyd.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at
2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Chris
Rathbone officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior
to the service. Interment will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.
