OBITUARY FOR; ANNA LAURA MCKINNEY
Anna Laura Mckinney 95, of 2020 Sherwood Road, Apt 338, Johnson
City Tenn. Died Saturday December 15.
Mrs. Mckinney was a resident of Appalachian Christian Village Since
1997. She Previously lived in Bakersville, N.C.
Mrs. Mckinney was a homemaker and a dedicated Sunday School Teacher.
She was a former member of the Bakersville Baptist Church and
Otterbein Methodist Church, and presently a member of Unaka Avenue
Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who had a
positive impact on her family. She was indeed a loving, kind
individual who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy V. Mckinney, four
brothers and one sister.
Survived by three daughters and their spouses; Marilyn [Everette]
Cutshall, Brenda [Bob] Corris, and Carol [Van] Slagle; Five
grandchildren; Rocky Cunningham, Kevin Cunningham, Bobby Corris,
Skeet Cutshall, and Chad Slagle; Five great - grandchildren.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the Appalachian
Christian Village for their wonderful care and concern of our
mother.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to
Appalachian Christian Village, 2012 Sherwood Road, Johnson City,
Tenn.
Or your favorite charity.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday December 19, at 11:00 AM at
Morris Baker Funeral Johnson City, Tenn. With the Rev. Grant Miller
officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the
services.
Interment will follow the service at Monte-Vista Cemetery.
Henline - Hughes is assisting the family.
