ELLA HUGHES LEWIS
Ella Hughes Lewis, age 84 of
Brummitts Creek Rd Green Mountain, NC passed away Friday, November
02, 2007 at Brookside Rehabilitation and Care in Burnsville, NC. She
was a native of Mitchell County, NC and the daughter of the late
Holden and Mollie Peterson Hughes. She was a member of Huntdale
Union Church.
Survivors include; daughter,
Matilda Jane McPeters and husband Arnold, of Green Mountain, NC, one
son Don Lewis, and wife Judy, of Lewisville, NC, two brothers,
Walter Hughes, of Green Mountain, NC and Bill Hughes, of Kingston,
TN, and one grandchild, Corey Lewis.
She was preceded in death by;
husband, James Wesley Lewis, sisters, Lela McNeese, and Ruth Jones,
and five brothers, Cisiroe, Earl, Starlin, Virgil, and Garfa.
Funeral Services will be held
Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 1:00PM in Huntdale Union Church with
Blaine Whitson officiating. The family will receive friends three
hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Flat Branch
Cemetery.
