LEDFORD
Lavie Eugene Ledford, age 90, of Crimson Laurel Way, Bakersville,
NC passed away June 27, 2010 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. He was
the son of the late Thomas J. and Evelyn Sailor Ledford, and a
native of Mitchell County, NC. He was self employed as a Farmer. He
attended Cornerstone Bible Church.
Surviving is his wife Ethel Rice Ledford, of the home.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dora Hoilman, Carrie
Cook, Nettie Hobson, and Dona Causey, and his brothers Roy, Edd,
Howard, Clarence, Arthur, and Grovie.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 7:00PM in
the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Ronnie Gouge
officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the
service. Interment will be Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00AM at
Gouge Cemetery (Gouge Cove Rd).
