Charles Honeycutt - BAKERSVILLE, N.C.
BAKERSVILLE, N.C. — Charles “Buster” Honeycutt, age 56, of 1081 Hughes Gap Road, Bakersville, North Carolina, died July 23, 2007, at the Medical Center in Johnson City, Tenn.

He was a member of the St. Paul Freewill Baptist Church, Co-owner of H&H Racing along with his son, Jeremy. He was a devoted racing fan. He was with J&H Construction Co. for 21 years as a Vice President and project Manager located in Unicoi, Tenn.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Hughes Honeycutt; Daughter, Amanda Honeycutt, of Bakersville; Son, Jeremy Honeycutt, of Bakersville; Granddaughter, Makenzi Honeycutt; Sisters, Barbara Hopson, of Bakersville, Peggy McKinney, of Bakersville, and Claudette Bennett, of Johnson City, Tenn.; Several Nephews and Nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Geneva Honeycutt, of Bakersville; and a sister, Shelby Jean Honeycutt.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 25 at 8 p.m. in the St. Paul Freewill Baptist Church, of which he was a member, with Marvin Hensley and Roger Laws officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will be Thursday, July 26, in the Honeycutt Cemetery at 11 a.m.
