Lillie Mae Coffey Hollifield, 76, of Carter's Ridge Road Spruce
Pine, died
Monday evening, December 3,2007 at the home of her daughter.
Survivors include two sons, Tim and wife Kathey Hollifield of Little
Switzerland; Chris Hollifield of Alabama; daughter Sheron Hollifield
Robinson and husband, David of Double Island; brothers Claude Coffey
and Arnold Coffey of Morganton, and sister Bert Wilson of Danville,
Va.; three grandsons and one great-grandson. She was preceded in
death by her husband
of fifty-one years, Rev. Richard Hollifield and brother Roy Coffey.
The funeral services will be held at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church
at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6th. The family will receive
friends two hours prior to the service. Ministers are Vernon
Buchanan and Lynda Briggs. Burial
will follow at
11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7th at Chestnut Grove
Cemetery in Little Switzerland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to
Hospice of
