HOILMON
James Roger Hoilmon, age 65 of Carters Ridge Rd, Spruce Pine, NC
passed away May 23, 2010 at his home. He was a native of Mitchell
County, NC and the son of the late Ed and Ollie Garland Hoilmon. He
was a member of Cloudland Baptist Church. Survivors include his
wife Betty Jean Howell Hoilmon, of the home, daughter, Lisa K. Cooke
and husband Bill, of Spruce Pine, NC, sons, James E Hoilmon, and
wife Donna and Kevin W. Hoilmon, and wife Lisa, all of Spruce Pine,
NC, two sisters, Iris Ward, of Hickory, NC, and Angenelle Shepherd,
of Spruce Pine, NC, one brother, Dean Hoilmon, of Bakersville, NC,
ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; one brother, Buster Hoilmon, one
sister, Barbara Sue Buchanan and two infant children.
The family received friends Tuesday, May 25 2010 from 6:00
until 8:00PM in Henline - Hughes Funeral Home. Funeral services were
held Wednesday, May 26 2010 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Henline -
Hughes Funeral Home with Tim Shepherd, Keith Miller, and Roger
Yelton officiating. Interment followed at Silvers Chapel Cemetery
(Hwy 80). Henline - Hughes Funeral Home assisted the Hoilmon
family. |
