D.S. Hall, age 77, passed away March 12, 2009, at the Blue Ridge
Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, NC. He was a native of
Mitchell County, NC, and was the son of the late Dave and Edith Canipe Hall. He was formerly employed at K.T. Feldspar as a
Rock Crusher. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and
attended Cane Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include:
Wife, Myrl Greene Hall, daughter, Vickie Buchanan and husband Robert
of Bakersville, NC, daughter, Lesia Staton and husband Randall of
Bakersville, NC, sisters, Edna Robertson and Sue Stewart both of
Bakersville, NC, Anna Lee McKinney of Newland, NC, Doris Winters of
Spruce Pine, NC, brother, David Hall of Spruce Pine, NC, five
grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Jeremy, Malachi, and Micah. He was
preceded in death by brothers, Mallie and Buster Hall, sisters,
Virginia McBee and Rosie Hall. Funeral services will be held
Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Henline-Hughes
Funeral Home in Bakersville, NC, Visitation will be from 1:00PM
until the service hour. Jimmy Arrowood, Ronnie Gouge, and
Robert Buchanan will be officiating the service. Interment
will follow the service at Cane Creek Cemetery on Cane Creek
Cemetery Road in Bakersville, NC. Henline-Hughes is assisting the
Hall family. |
