GRINDSTAFF
Milt Adam Grindstaff, age 89 of South Hwy 226 Bakersville, NC
passed away August 29, 2007. He was the sone of the late Kelsey and
Vallie Willis Grindstaff and a Native of Mitchell County, NC. He was
employed in the Carpentry Business and Built houses for 67 years. He
was a member and Deacon at Snow Hill Baptist Church and also a
member of The Rhododendron Cruisers. He served in CCC Camp in
Gastonia, NC.
Survivors include; daughter, Kathleen Grindstaff Byrd, of
Bakersville, NC, sons, Douglas McArthur Grindstaff, of Brevard, NC,
and Harold J. Grindstaff, of Bakersville, NC, one sister, Mary
Magdalene Grindstaff McKinney, of Bakersville, NC one brother,
Robert Grindstaff, of Marion, NC, grandchildren, Phil Byrd, Harold
Van Grindstaff, Betty Hughes, Neal Grindstaff, Nathan Stewart, and
Tabatha Morgan, eleven great grandchildren, and four great great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; wife, Bonnie B. Grindstaff, and two
brothers, Blaine Grindstaff, and Clifford Grindstaff.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September1, 2007 at
3:00PM in Snow Hill Baptist Church with Gerald Grindstaff and Harold
Grindstaff officiating. The family will receive friends one hour
prior to the service. Interment will follow at Snow Hill Cemetery.
