away in Brian Center HealthCare,in Spruce Pine, Fri. May 18, 07.She
was born in Mitchell Co. to the late Jim & Mary Pittman Buchanan.
She was a member of Snow Hill Baptist Church. Suviors include Her
Husband Milt Adam Grindstaff of the home. One Daughter; Kathleen
Grindstaff Byrd of Bakersville. Two Sons: Douglas McArthur
Grindstaff of Brevard. Harold J. Grindstaff of Bakersville. Sisters:
Dessie Callahan of Big Stone Gap, VA. and Lila Ward of Bakersville.
Grandchildren: Phil Byrd, Harold Van Grindstaff. Betty Hughes , and
Neal Grindstaff. Step Grandchildren Nathan Stewart & Tabatha Morgan.
Eight Great Grandchildren. Three Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Four Sisters
Carrie Woody, Gladys, Hattie and Alice Buchanan. Two Brothers Jay &
Earl Buchanan.
Funeral Services are Monday.May 21, 2007 at
3Pm At Snow Hill Baptist Church .The Family Will Receive Friends One
hour prior to the service. Ministers are Gerald & Harold Grindstaff.
Burial Will follow in the Church Cemetery. Henline-Hughes is
assisting the family.
