Bobbie Garland

Sykesville, Md. - Bobbie M. Garland, of Sykesville, Md., died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at Carroll County Hospital, Westminster, Md. She was born Nov. 6, 1935, in Bakersville, N.C., the daughter of Charles W. and Mae Forbes Garland, who preceded her in death. She was the spouse of the late Earl Garland.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Bud Lupton, of Westminster, and Penny and Frank Osborne, of Sykesville; son and daughter-inlaw, Mark and Hilary Garland, of Bakersville; six grandchildren, Christopher Lupton, of Westminster, Clayton Lupton, of Littlestown, Pa., Nicholas Osburn and Michael Osburn, of Sykesville, Nicole Garland and Caleb Garland, of Bakersville; brother and sister-inlaw, Brooks and Jean Garland, of Jonesborough, Tenn.; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Belle Gouge, and Charlene and Bradley Gouge, of Johnson City, Tenn., Kathleen Garland, of Bakersville, and Helen Woody, of Tampa, Fla.; and many loving nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed gardening, football and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 14th from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Henline - Hughes Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 15th at 11:00AM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes, with G. B. Garland officiating. Interment will follow at Garland Cemetery.
