Mollie B Gardner, age 93, of Hwy 226 North Bakersville, NC passed
away March 24th 2008 at Brian Center Healthcare in Spruce Pine, NC.
She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and the daughter of the late
Bob and Sally Garland Bennett. She was a member of Beans Creek
Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include; daughters, Lillie Bray and Kate Jones, son
Fred Gardner, all of Bakersville, NC, sister, Ruth Hughes, of Red
Lion Pa, brother, Nath Byrd, of Bakersville, NC, eight
grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great great
grandchild.
She was preceded in death by; husband, Frank Gardner, sons,
Bascom and Bradley, daughters, Ethel Armstrong, and Wilma Burleson,
and a great grandson Hunter Lane Jones, one sister, Daisy Cabinet,
and one brother, Farrell Bennett.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 8:00PM
in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with G B Garland
officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until the
service hour. Interment will be Wednesday, March 26 at 11:00AM at
Beans Creek Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of ones choice.
