EDWARDS
Marie Buchanan Edwards, age 71, of Candler, NC passed away March
1, 2010 at her residence. She was a native of Mitchell County,
NC, and was the daughter of the late Will and Annie Ledford
Buchanan. She was a homemaker and a member of Cane Creek
Baptist Church in Bakersville, NC.
Survivors include: sons, Ronnie Edwards and wife Lisa of Mills
River, NC, Randy Edwards and wife Angie of Arden, NC, sister, Grace Buchanan
of Candler, NC, brother, Ben Buchanan of Bakersville, NC,
grandchildren, Davey, Heather, Alex, Christina, and Stephanie
Edwards, and special friend Ron Butler of Candler, NC.
She was preceded in death by husband, Dale Edwards, brothers,
Tarp, Leonard, Laney, and Leon Buchanan. Funeral services will be
held, Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 3:00PM at the Henline-Hughes Chapel
in Bakersville, NC. Visitation will be one hour prior to the
service. Mike Peterson will be officiating the service.
Interment will be in the Cane Creek Cemetery.
