CROWDER EATON
Lessie Crowder Eaton, age 83 of Hubbard Rd, Huntersville, NC,
passed away March 24, 2010. She was a Native of Mitchell County, NC
and the daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy Thomas Crowder. She
was retired as a Greeter at Wal-Mart. She attended Gouges Creek
Baptist Church and was a member of Eastern Star Chapter #27 in
Spruce Pine, NC.
Survivors include; one son, Stokes McClellan, and wife Nancy, of
Huntersville, NC, one daughter, Margaret Aberson, of Concord, NC,
three sisters, Lydia Banks, of Marion, NC, Lona Cable and Lela
Singleton, both of Spruce Pine, NC, three brothers Lanny Crowder and
Leonard Crowder, both of Spruce Pine, NC, and Lance Crowder, of
Charlotte, NC, three grandchildren, Adam McClellan, Joe McClellan,
and Dawn Aberson, one great grandchild, Cheyenne McClellan. She
was preceded in death by; husband, Alan Eaton, one sister, Lillian
Still, and one brother, Lewis Crowder. Funeral services will be
held Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 2:00PM in Gouges Creek Baptist
Church with Reverend Tommy Thomas officiating. The family will
receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow
at Gouges Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Henline - Hughes Funeral
