BARNETT BENNETT
Hannah Barnett Bennett, age 98, of Brummitts Creek Rd, Green
Mountain, NC passed away August 28, 2007. She was the daughter of
the late Green Berry and Alzy Peterson Barnett and a native of
Mitchell County, NC. She was a member of The Fundamental Brethren
Church, and the first Valedictorian at Tipton Hill High School in
1929. She was well known for her oil and water color paintings which
are displayed in many local churches. She was a musician having
composed many songs some were published, and many were used in area
churches. Survivors include; one niece, Star Bennett, and several
great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by; husband,
Edd Bennett, and two sisters, Ethel Tipton and Betty Bryant.
Funeral Services will be held
Thursday, August 30 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes
Funeral Home, with Joe Brown and Paul Bennett officiating. The
family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Tipton - Griffith Cemetery.
