MILLER BENNETT
Ettie Miller Bennett, age 94, of Green Mountain, NC passed away
February 17, 2010 at the Brian Center in Spruce Pine, NC. She
was a native of Mitchell County, NC, and was the daughter of the
late John K. and Nettie Branch Miller. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: sons, Manis Bennett and wife Brenda of
Erwin, TN, Troy Bennett of Green Mountain, NC, Lloyd Bennett and
wife Carolyn of Green Mountain, NC, daughter in law, Lavona Bennett
of Green Mountain, NC, brother, Ike Miller of Green Mountain, NC,
ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great-great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: husband, Richard
Bennett, son, Maynard Bennett,
sisters, Dollie Bennett and Venia Howell, brothers, Roy, Vester,
Hansel, and Floyd Miller. The family will receive friends
Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00PM at the Henline-Hughes
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February
21, 2010 at 2:00PM in the Upper Pigeon Roost Freewill Baptist Church
with David Garland and Marvin Silvers officiating. The body
will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment
will follow at Bennett Cemetery on Pigeon Roost Road. Memorials
