Joshua Leonard Barnes, age 84 of Apple Creek Rd Burnsville NC
passed away March 18, 2008. He was a native of Carroll County, MD
and the son of the late Joshua and Eva Maude Barnes. He was retired
from Black and Decker in Hanover, Md, was a Farmer, and was a member
of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include; son, Michael Wayne Barnes, of Hanover, Pa,
daughter, Betty Jean Cubbage, of Littlestown, Pa, brother, Gilbert
Franklin Barnes of Westminster, Md, sister, Daisy Pauline Eyler, of
Eldersburg, Md, three stepdaughters, Judy Lassiter, of Burnsville,
NC, Jean Edwards, of Micaville, NC, and Lisa Hartnell, also of
Burnsville, NC, one stepson, George Bryant, of Micaville, NC, three
grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and many step great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 19, at 7:00PM in
the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home. The family will receive
friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in
Maryland.
