When we moved into the cove 19-1/2 years ago as a young family, Glenn and June were so kind in welcoming us as neighbors. We always enjoyed getting to visit with them. We've missed Glenn all these years and now we will miss Miss June with her sweet voice and ever-present smile. Our condolences to the Whitson family.

Dear Keith, Sally, and Family,
May all of you find comfort in the triumphant hope of our Lord Jesus Christ in the coming days. As His Word assures us: "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away" ~Revelation 21:4. Many friends have remembered you both in prayer over the past few weeks in the loss of parents, whom you have loved. Such has been my experience, as well; and although it has been several years, I miss visiting with them and "picking up the telephone" (as we used to say) and calling them.
Keith, on a side note, I have a friend who grew up in Bakersville, Joe Lane McKinney, who now lives in Weaverville. His parents were Welzie and Neva McKinney, and they were members of Roan Mountain Baptist Church. It could be that you know Joe.
May God bless you all.
In Christ's service, Sam
