How truly humbled we are that as public servants we meant so much to Trula. We try to be not just transportation but friends. Trula was our friend for many years. All of us have fond memories of Trula and Toye. She never drove but could
show the newest and the oldest driver at MCTA how to get around in Johnson City. She knew every short cut and could/would pack as many trips into a day as one could possible pack. We all will truly miss our talks on the phone and our trips across the mountain with our friend. Rest in peace dear friend and God's peace and comfort we wish to the family. She leaves behind a true legacy of how a christian should show God's love, how He gives us peace and how one should care for others.

How sorry I was to hear of Trula's passing. When I think of your Mom and Dad I think of a simpler time growing up in Buladean, going to their store was a treat, you were always welcomed and found lifelong friends in them. She was special and will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

To all of you, so sorry for your great loss.
I find some peace thinking of Trula in Heaven with my Mother Georgia Tyler.
They were cousins but were closer to each other as Best Friends.
I remember so many good times when I brought Mom down to see Trula and staying over for days, it was always a wonderful time. I will so miss all of you way down there in NC. With Loving Thoughts, Pat

We will miss Trula very much. As one of the oldest and dearest friends of our parents, she was very special indeed. She always made us feel so welcomed any time we came to Buladean and was always so interested in our lives back in Texas. It just won't be the same without her. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
