Roy Eddie Grindstaff

 

Roy Eddie Grindstaff, age 68, of Bakersville, NC, passed away May 10, 2012 at the Brian Center in Spruce Pine, NC. He was born in Mitchell County, NC, to the late Avery and Ruth Burleson Grindstaff. He was the owner and operator of Grindstaff Garage.  He was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include: son, Greg Grindstaff and wife Kim of Bakersville, NC, step granddaughters, Amber and Leah Blackburn of Bakersville, NC, brother, Ronnie Grindstaff of Hickory, NC, niece, Vickie Hughes, and nephews, Michael and John Paul Grindstaff. 

 

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 13, 2012 at 4:00PM in the Bear Creek Baptist Church in Bakersville, NC.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Chris Rathbone and Holt Whitson will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery.

Greg I am so sorry for the loss of your father. He will be well missed. I can still remember what a time I had as a child playing in his garage as he was working on one of Dads cars. I Pray that God blesses you and comforts you and your family during this time.
